Rieco Titan Electric Jack

Has anyone replaced the lower rubber dust boot on their Rieco Titan Electric jacks? If so where did you find them?

I researched RT's website for some replacement parts but didn't find them--not even a part number. Called RT and only got voicemail but "mailbox full." I've also sent them a note on their "contact" page but no joy. I've searched on-line at other retailers but did not find any there either. Checking with all of you now......
  • Thats a good question. Just so happens my nephew works in Frankfort, Illinois so I'll ask him to stop by the plant and maybe get some info. Not promising anything but I'll try.

If I find out anything, I'll pm you.
  • Mine are cracking and two of them won't stay put, I could use new ones also.
  • I replaced them on a 2010 AF 990 I used to have, if I remember correctly my RV dealer was able to get them for me.
One other thing, when I removed the bolt on the bottom to remove the foot pad, water poured out, the rear two jacks tubes were probably half full of water.
I've wondered if there should be a drain hole?

All four of mine have holes for drainage. I shot Amsoil HD Metal protector in the holes to coat the bolts in case I want to replace my boots, which are cracking.

Today I was able to check the jack legs on my new 2017 990, they also have the drain holes, Rieco must have decided the drains holes were a good idea.
I think I'll spray some rust inhibitor inside to keep the bolt threads from rusting.
  • Call RT direct....I wish I remember the nice lady I spoke to..explain what you want and they'll take the order over the phone...I ordered 8 of them ....came to about 25.00 dollars with shipping .i think they were like 2.40 a piece ?
  • Thanks for the inputs! I finally got through to RT -- after talking to someone it was painless. Seals enroute--less than $2.50 a piece plus shipping.
