roof lower seal/gasket question

I had recently moved my pop-up and my son noticed water coming out of the gasket/seal for the roof. It appears that the rubber seal where it connects has come unglued allowing water to seep in. It had rained for several days and my guess is that the water entered the seal and when I moved it the water escaped. I raised the top enough to check the pop=up for interior leaks. I also checked the entire gasket and found no apparent holes. What is the best way to seal this. I have seen that super glue is recommended. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
  • Actually, I will be glued the two ends of the hose/gasket. It is one piece that goes all around the pop-up. I thought about seeing if I could insert a plug of some type and gluing the ends to the plug.
  • If all you are doing is gluing the rubber seal back to it's original surface, original Liquid Nails can't be beat! Really! I've used (original) Liquid Nails on lots of outside projects, INCLUDING the seals on my truck shell, tailgate back window to glue the rubber gasket back to the aluminum. It does require a little pressure to hold it in place, but not so much the Liquid Nails won't dry.

You don't want Liquid Nails for Projects, or Styrofoam, or anything like that. You want the original Construction formula Liquid Nails. Any Home improvement store sells Liquid Nails, WallMart probably has it too.
