- chops1scExplorer IIThat appears to be too close, IMO. What is the truck model? I assume the camper is attached? What about cargo in the bed and passengers?
- valhalla360NavigatorYeah, eyeballing, it looks like about 1" of articulation before it hits the stop.
When I installed sumo springs on my F250, there was around 5" when empty (to the OEM bump stop) and putting the 5th wheel on at up a little less than 2" due to sag.
I assume you are heavily loaded and every bump you hit, the axle is going to bottom out. - dodge_guyExplorer IIThose aren't stops. they are suspension bumpstops. and will compress when under load. is the 5`er hooked up?
- carringbExplorerThey basically act as overload springs, but without the spring slap or excess rebound. They can be fully engaged.
