Father in law in the trailer while moving? Absolutely. Dog? Not a chance for us, no way. I know our dog would have nothing to do with us ever again if we tried that....
*Might* be okay for some dogs, but some may experience mild to extreme stress. Some TTs bounce and move around more than others. You could enter your TT afterwards to find the screen door or other things ruined or "waste" material on the floor. I know I would sure not want to be in a TT while moving. Imagine how a dog might feel. If you must, I would use a crate and secure it in place and I would put it as far forward as possible inside the TT to reduce the sensation of movement. If in doubt, ask your vet or Cesar Milan.
Is it because there's no room in the TV or the dog does not behave well in the TV? If the latter, maybe some time with a professional dog trainer is needed?
