I’m pretty sure my truck can handle the Host Camper, I had 2 yards of wet compost in it and a trailer with5 additional yards and the trailer weighed 2500 lbs . Yea I was heavy and would not go cross country ,but the Host is not equal to two yards of wet compost either..
The issue I have is the truck only has 120,000 miles on it . I simply have to use it. And getting 12-14 mpg is better than 6-7-8 in a pusher. So? Maybe I need to look at a small fifth.
I don’t want to invest a ton of money as I am looking for a part of the country I really like and may want to buy a house, again small ranch no maintenance!! That’s the general idea today anyway.
