Self contained "park model"

I don't see a problem with upgrading. A 95 model certainly has a lot of maintenance on it, I imagine. A slide makes a huge difference in room, no doubt about it.

My biggest problem with the one you linked for me is the price listed. Get it down a couple more grand and I'd feel better about it.

Ill be upgrading to one that size and have not had a second thought about it.

There are plenty of bunk house campers less the half bath that carry all the same basic amenities this does that are another 3' - 4' shorter. Mainly depends on how much room you have where you camp. Good luck.

yeah, the pop up was my wild hair. DW "ain't sleeping in no pop-up" The class C is Momma's top choice, but the reality is that a class C is not in our family budget right now.

There was a space issue with my current TT that I have was mostly due to MY desire for more space. Which is pretty selfish as the current trailer is paid for. The Kids and the DW seem perfectly content with the current trailer. They don't sit around saying "I wish I had slides, or I wish I had a bunk house." The 95 always needs something done to it. Etc. etc.

Basically, I need to get overmyself and fix what I have instead of looking out for bigger and better (more expense.)

My old simple trailer works pretty well, I just don't have the luxury of room that a slid out and seperate sleeping quarters offers, of course, its immensly more comfortable than a tent :)

Its very similar to my Keystone hornet 38bhds. The bunk room in mine has a table on the right side instead of a bath, and it has a sliding door for the main entrance.

I'm seasonal, so I'm not towing this thing around all the time, but I have seen a few weekenders towing tt this size into our CG.

If you are comfortable towing/backing up, go for it.

Where you currently camp, do you typically have enough room for another 10' of camper? Including room to manuver it into the site?

I just moved up from a 24' TT to a 28' TT and I noticed a HUGE difference. I can't imagine adding another 10' to the length! Then again, my 28' barely fits on the side of my house, and it is a challenge pulling out and backing in from my relatively narrow subdivision street development. My first two trips with the 28' have been a challenge backing into the sites, also. The first site was short and barely fit the TT alone. The second site was tricky getting the TT in between trees.

That being said, I would love to have something that big to live in once it was on a site!

X2 it's a TT. Albeit a heavy one.

This is a self contained park model so you can use it in older or smaller parks that don't have full service sites, Or even use it as a large travel trailer.

This is nothing more than salesman jargon trying to suck in anyone he can by calling it everything but the kitchen sink!!

Yep, that is a regular old 38 ft TT. Nothing special about it. If it is clean and the price is right go for it!

I would not even call that a park model. 8,500 lbs, 38 ft long. Plenty of the newer triple slide island kitchen bunk houses are carrying those specs today. You have a one ton dually so no issues there. Ceilings are no taller than my camper (7'), its got regular camper doors, the front is not all windows, fully self contained and all RV appliances. If you can fit it where you camp I don't see why not. At 34'-10" we have always been able to find a site to fit, sometimes that van has to sit parallel to the road.
