I saw somebody do that with their truck camper jacks. If they forgot they were down and pulled away, the PVC would just kick out and no damage done.
I would ,make sure your leveling jacks are down, you do not want to put upward pressure on the slide when you move around in there.
You should never brace your slide-out. If your camper shifts even a small amount while your slide out is braced you may damage it. It also will void your warranty if you still have an active one.
