Never The above is actually our AirStream wheel...but I have an identical set for the TC (they were "on sale"...)They have since been painted to prevent any splintering. The best part about these; they are infinitely adjustable...up to ~ 8" height, just drive up the incline until level, hit the parking brake, and chock it. If we are more out of level than that...I'll move. It's nice to only carry 2 mitered pcs of wood 16" x 8" that nest together nice and compact. They fit in one of our outside storage boxes no problem

I use some 2x8 ramps and blocks of wood underneath the ramp to raise the truck to various levels. Those plastic ramps and square blocks can slip on pavement and are too brittle in the winter months. I've broken many of those at the ski area. Wood is cheap and easy to replace.

Tri Levelers.......carry 4 in my slide out tray. Stack together nicely and they clean up nice without soaking in the water like wood. Ive used them for 4 years with no breakage, and I carry a heavy TC. Good width under the tires and never slid off. I would buy them again.

Biiltex, yep four for my F350 Dually.

Kerry4951, Yea, I had some time and some extra material lying around so, decided to use it--perfect fit for this job.

Nice job on those. I use the Tri Levelers because they are basicly the same idea but not nearly as heavy.

You should have 4 if you own a dually. If you have to raise the back up you should have one under each tire.

Found a similar pattern here on the forum so I tailored it to my use. Mine are made from 2x6s cut, stacked, trimmed, and lag bolted down with wood glue sandwiched in between. I built four of them and they stack/load compactly onto the hitch carrier. They work OUTSTANDING!

My F450 Ford has a bigfoot leveling system installed. Push a button and 4 hydraulic jacks come down and auto level. Love it.

NEVER use my jacks to level. Too much risk and I hobble myself from a fast get-away if an emergency crops up.
