Slide out problem

Question

I have a 2012 Adventurer with a happjzac slide out. Suddenly when it retracts the front of the slide does not close all the way. It goes out fine. When it tries to close there are no funny noises, all seems normal but at the top it sticks out about 2inches and the bottom about 3/4 inch. The back of the slide closes all the way like it should. I've had about 4 different places look at it and throw up their hands. I can take it to the factory but thats about 1800 miles from Oklahoma. Does anybody know of a place that does work like that?

Either there's a obstruction on the one side or the controller is faulty

daily double wrote:I have a 2012 Adventurer with a happjzac slide out. I think that means HappyJack slide mechanism. Double check to make sure that it is not a Schwintek slide mechanism.  If it is a Schwintek, you should be able to use the motor re-timing procedure.

I was wondering if Adventurer ever used the HappiJac mechanism. If the slide is crooked, it is a broken drive shaft or separated cradle.http://happijac.com/images/pdfs/37SLIDERUSERSMANUAL.pdf
