What is that, a knockoff of an Avion?
Dunno I just saw it for the first time driving by today, he has been working on the small rig next to it for a few months now.
Checked it out while walking the dogs this evening. It's an Old Travel Queen TC. From what I could see the only stuff not completely rotted is under the metal top, the wood floor of the cabover is resting on the truck roof The wood under the side bed overhang is also compltely rotted. he has his work seriously cut out for him as in use this as a template and build a whole new wood structure then reuse the old metal skin - recyclerExplorer

believe it or not there are some of us in the rv community that are fairly poor and that build what we can when we can.. mine was built $20 at a time sometimes with a table saw i dug out of a fence row and got working, two freebie drills one i picked up off of the highway and one from a burned out trailer i tore down and a borrowed miter saw.. so i say kudos to the guy/gal for doing what they could and hope they enjoy their labor...
What did you use to seal the bare wood? What type joint trim are you using?
like Jfet's it is not done..the windows were just put in to see if i needed to open the cab over windows back up for air flow before i try to get the money together for the fiberglass i plan to cover it in..to make it a one peice unit to try to avoid leaks..
..you would think after nearly two years it would be done.. - JumboJetExplorer

Point taken...
You know a kit or plans for the "Do It Yourselfer" might work for a start up company.
i agree a kit camper might work for start up..is why i keep telling my brother to think about offering his campers as a kit.. - Camper_Jeff___KNomad IIILooking at the picture, I'd say it's had a good bit of use and has undergone a couple remodels.
The cabover looks to be a recent addition as does the rear roof overhang (note bare wood needs paint) where there is probably some sort of deck or storage. The low side skirting looks like a good way to mate the unit to the vehicle where the truck bed side profile is widest. This looks to be an actively used setup doing it's intended job. Who knows, there may be an Duramax Allison combination stuffed under that hood. That'd lower the total load rating though. - Buzzcut1Nomad II
