Stabalizers

I have a 26' TT which of course has stabalizers on all 4 corners. I have 2 others which I would like to add.

Behind the rear tires there are brackets on the frame which look like points to bolt up the new ones but they are far back of the center of the trailer. (none in front of the tires).

Is there a "normal location" or "best location" to place the extra jacks?

Thanks,
WKRP
  • Close to the axles and attached to the FRAME(not the suspension) is the normal location for removing suspension bounce.
  • As close to the tires as possible. Tires are rubber & will bounce easily. Install one stabilizer on each side of the trailer close to the tires and you will notice a big improvement. I also use the BAL tire chocks on each side to stop and back & forth movement.
