Hi everyone, I just bought my first trailer, a 2011 Crossroads Slingshot GT26BH. I went on a campsite last week-end to make sure everything is working. Since it is a used one I have 30 days to make sure of that. Everything was fine except when I deployed my stabilizer jacks I noticed they didn't have any base plates. I called the RV dealer and he told me that model came this way... One of my friend told me he never saw stabilizer jacks without base plates. Is the dealer is lying because he doesnt want to provide me these base plates ?

Ask him again in person and watch his nose grow.

Don't know what kind of stabilizers you have so it's hard to say. Last one I had didn't have base plates. A picture would help.

You can buy them separate. I'd provide a link, but we don't know what type of stabilizer jacks you have.

Put wood under it. I do that and I have base plate. I have seen some without base plate and they put wood under it.

Crazy. Just another way to cheapen them up.

I would build something for them. But, I'm on the farm and have access to the materials and tools I would need.

Mine did not come with any base plates either. Added them on later.

The dealer isn't lying, that type didn' t come with base plates.

The dealer is correct,some jacks come that way. look at teh BLA C jack for one example.Link

I also would just put a piece of wood or a plastic leveling block under the end.
