Stove top covers for additional counter space

I took some hardwood scraps in the shop and glued them up into a large cutting board that fits over the 3 burner stove top. We mostly cook outside, so it expands the counter space. It sits on the dinette seat if I need the range. It has lips on it, so it lives on the range most of the time and won't slide off.
