- trail-explorerExplorerTHe T-dome "parking lot sale" is generally just one dealer.... they haul a bunch of their new and used inventory over there.
It's a "sale" more than a typical RV show like would occur "inside" the dome.
I've never seen Truck Campers at the parking lot sale. - jimh406Explorer IIINote that I said larger fifth wheels and class As and I wasn't talking about whether they should stock them or not. I've seen the reaction of the salesman when both TCs and larger rvs are on the lot. Obviously, I was specifically looking for a TC, and they had some on the lot.
- mkirschNomad IIBecause they cost a lot less? I doubt it.
Most RV dealers sell dozens of the small popups and single-axle hard sides a year, and those are all in the <$10,000 range.
It's about moving a lot of product. Unless you are an RV dealer that specializes on the truck campers, you don't move very many of them and they tend to sit on the lot. - jimh406Explorer IIIThe shows I've been to seem to vary due to who are the vendors even though there are lots of TCs in the area. Also, some dealers are strongly adverse to TCs even if they happen to have one on the lot. I'm sure it's because they cost a lot less than the larger and mostly more expensive fifth wheels and class As.

I would say, no - ScottGNomadI haven't been to the Tacoma Dome show but all the shows they have in Seattle always have a good number of TC present. I think they're very popular in this area.
- wcjeepExplorerIn the past Apache Camping has been there. Not sure who is there now.
