Nope talked to a Toy rep at the North American Auto Show or the Detroit Auto Show (kinda like Dodge Ram or just Ram lol) and he said nope it was canceled and they are going in a different direction. Hybrids no diesels in their line up.

The vintage of the trucks they showed a early 70e's Chevy, and 80's vintage Ford and Dodge. Back in the 80's it was a Dodge Ram. I owned a 84 Dodge, still running around town with the original 318 motor. I sold it in 94 with 200k to a friend who drove it 10 years then sold it to the son of a lab tech I new. It always had Mobil 1 oil ran in it.

I watched the game but evidently not so much the commercials. Funny thing is, that tends to always happens when I'm watching a game, or tv for that matter.

I always thought the Honda Ridgeline looked like a Lesbians El Camino-
AKA- a more modern day Subaru Brat. Changing the appearance of the Ridgeline could only help sales.

The Titan diesel would make an excellent grocery getter, toad, or light duty contractor truck. But at that price I would probably opt for a 1/2 ton gasser from one of the big three. Its a nice truck but about 10k higher than I would want to pay.

With no exhaust brake on the engine the tandem dual axle trailer with probably 20-22k lbs of braking performance was a wise choice.

With a advertised 11k+ tow rating and 2000 lb payloads the truck must have more than a 4k RAWR.

GVWR is 8,990 lbs according to the post about the Titan and the Ike Gauntlet.

I'm not sure about the new Pilots, but on the previous generation (2009-2015) you can actually lock the center diff 50/50 at speeds under 20 mph. I would agree that it isn't a true 4x4, but it does pretty good on snowy roads and reasonably good forest service roads.
