Looks like they just copied Fords mirrows
Very close but the Ford's are power telescoping as well.
Congrats to GM in stepping up to the plate with a richer interior, they needed this. - monkey44Nomad IIKinda interesting to read what's in that HIGH package, then look in my 2015 Chevy 2500HD truck and find those same items on it right now, and it's not called "anything" ... no package, although each of the upgrades has a name (Like convenience package) on the invoice.
The mirrors, the bumper, leather, MYlink, etc -- each of those items is in the truck and right off the dealer lot. SO, I'm not exactly clear what 'Williams' means when he writes 'a new package' ... nothing new in it far as I can see, and as far as I can see is about ten feet away from me at the moment. Pretty strange article. - N-TroubleExplorer

Nice change with the mirrors.

Did you happen to scroll down through the comments? Couple of them are pretty good.
LOL
At least they are level now. Those older tilted ones just didn't look right, to me anyway. Don't mention DEF tank location :R
I will say this as someone else suggested, GM is playing catch up with the interior, seats, headlights etc. The power level and tow rating for the diesel are still dragging the bottom of the HD line.
Hope the next HD type of of tests can include GM this year Mark@PUT.com :B
Nice improvements overall though for the 2015 GM trucks. Congrats
Tilted mirrors??? Yeah if you try to put the current tow mirror on an old body style truck... - MARK_VANDERBENTExplorerNo need according to you ! looks like last year the GM trucks combined outsold the f150 !! So you can have your opinion, but the general public seems to like both and have for many, many years. GM trucks, like ford have loyal customers. Buddy of mine just received his 2015 GMC sierra HD duramax !! WOW nice truck, and even die hard ford guys are impressed with his truck.

I wonder when GM is going to drop the Chevrolet pick up and just sell a GMC truck? Just is not good business to have multiple vehicle lines.
One of the very few things Damn-Lire did that made any sense was when they discontinued the Plymouth line. GM needs to wake up and do a little down sizing if they want to return to the profitability they had before IMO.

BTW from what you can see of it, it looks like they will have a very nice truck.
I'm predicting Fiat (your boy Macaroni)will drop the Dodge line in the future.
Chevy is the backbone to GM and will never see the back door.
Not a bad looking truck... Looks like both the mirrors and the rims got some Ford DNA.
I'm betting your 100% dead wrong Troy. BTW I never said GM should drop the Chevrolet Division, only drop the Chevrolet Pick up trucks. There is no need for two trucks that are almost Identical.

GM ain't stupid. They will sell them.
They might sell some, but will they sell for a PROFIT, or will they eventually be heavily discounted to get them off the lot? The question has never been ability to sell... the issue for GM the last 10 years or so has been an ability to sell and make a PROFIT. They weren't able to do that, hence the bailout and subsequent bankruptcy.
$45K starting price for a 2wd is way too rich for me. I understand people want all the fancy stuff, but I just can't figure out why. I don't need all those gizmos and gadgets... I'm too busy driving to play around with all those toys. As far as my kids are concerned, I don't let them watch tv in the car... they also are very limited to watching tv at home. When I was a kid and we went on vacation, we had a book and a Walkman. My kids will have the modern equivalent of the same.
Power steering, power windows, cruise control, traction control and a backup camera are my necessities. I'm not opposed to a nice stereo with Bluetooth streaming. My phone has a MUCH better GPS than you can get in a vehicle... with free upgrades nonstop from Google Earth. All the rest of that technology is wasted on me... I ain't paying for it. I can't stand leather, its always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I prefer cloth seats.
I'd rather spend $20K less on the truck and spend that money driving around this beautiful country. To each their own though.
Same here. I bought the lowest trim level F250 4X4 they make with the options I wanted. IBC, cloth split bench seating and the electric power package. Drove it off the lot for 31K. Can't understand putting carpet in a truck. - 45RicochetExplorer
