Sorry about your issues. But the same could be said for at least one user of every brand. Seems the majority here love the trailer and have no major issues.
Yeah, I guess I was the "lucky one" hahaha - samhain7ExplorerSorry about your issues. But the same could be said for at least one user of every brand. Seems the majority here love the trailer and have no major issues.

I have a 2015 289BHS, have only been out a couple times but love it. I wonder why DE88ROX is having so many issues; perhaps they fixed many of the issues they had several years ago.
DE88- could you elaborate on what issues you're having? Structural or appliances?
Im trying to find my post where I listed everything that was/is wrong with it. will repost here when I find it.
but it's mostly structural. with one appliance issue. if you want to call the water heater catching on fire "appliance" - Bodie217ExplorerI have a 2015 289BHS, have only been out a couple times but love it. - DE88ROXExplorerBought new in 2012 an Atumn Ridge 235fb. I know its not the same Model as yours, but its the same make.
Mine is the biggest POS i have ever owned. It feels like i store it in the dealers service bay, more than i do my house.
im glad I bought the extended warranty. every trip out something is breaking on this thing.
I would never buy another one. - FishHaggisExplorerJust saw this post. Bought our 289bhs in eastern Ontario and then we drove to Yellowknife. Have no issues with the trailer. The selling feature is the same size BIG bunk beds as I have two big sons! Dry camp mostly up here so having the bigger tanks is a plus and the insulation helps on those colder days. Switched all the lights to LED. They should just make these standard for so many reasons. Bought eu3000i Honda generator and that powers the whole thing. I did learn that towing capacity is just one aspect and that I need to consider gcwr as well, and just traded my half ton for a three quarter ton. It's doable on the half ton but long trips are not much fun. It was either the truck which I love or the trailer, so I traded off my truck. The camper is great.
- samhain7ExplorerFunny...the three people hear that have one are all from Ontario Cznada...
- samhain7ExplorerHave it. Love it!!
- CDNfyrfytrExplorerWe also have an Autumn Ridge 289bhs. Ours is a 2014. We had very good luck with it over the last camping season The bunks are very sturdy, and it is a well built and solid trailer. Tongue weight is a bit on the heavy side, but that is a tradeoff for a solid trailer. I agree with Dutchie1979's comments. This is also our second Autumn Ridge, the first being a 2012 297bhs. We went with the 289 for more space in the main living area, otherwise we would still have the 297. I would definitely recommend a Starcraft RV. Good luck with your search.
