My prowler is getting long in the tooth. We were looking to replace this fall or next. Thinking about going to poke around this guy. Thoughts or advice?

A few in here have commented on the brand quality, but it looks from the pic's that it has very little storage. That would bother me.

I spoke to soon. forgive my ignorance. Its sold, that was his way of telling me. the seller was actually very friendly. And yes for 3800 bucks I didn't expect to haggle but those are simple questions that are a good indicator of weather or not its been taken care of.

While it's probably not unreasonable to ask if a trailer is leaking or has leaked in the past I'd suspect most selling a trailer of this age and in this price range aren't going to have much patience getting into discussions over tire age, bearing service, etc. For a much newer unit, sure - but not a trailer that's 15+ years old. The seller just wants to get rid of it, what the new owner does with it is up to him / her. JMO. Too bad this one is sold, looks like it could have been a winner. ๐Ÿ˜ž

I messaged asking if it had any leaks, when the roof was last sealed, how old the tires were and when the last time the bearings were serviced was as well as what size ball the tongue accepted. Maybe a little harsh but for $3800 you can bet the current owner isn't too interested in haggling over details such as tires, bearings, etc. FWIW, this 2406SL is a 2003, not 2002. Sunnybrook was purchased by Winnebago in Dec 2010 ... go here, scroll down to the bottom, click on Product Archive, and you can download a 2003 Sunnybrook brochure where you'll find all sorts of details, including the 2406SL. It doesn't indicate the ball size but it would have to be 2 & 5/16". Despite the reply you've received I'd look at it if the floor plan suits you otherwise.

Why is the exhaust pipe sticking so far out of the back and so high on the camper and then turning and going straight to the ground on that last photo? ๐Ÿ™‚

That looks like a well kept trailer, going by the pics. I think it warrants a closer look, and I'll add, the Sunnybrook models were a well made trailer.

I bought a new 2008 Sunnybrook. I no longer have it, but fully expect that it will be the best quality RV I'll ever own. It really was rock solid, and overbuilt. Good luck, if it's in A+ condition, that's a pretty small pile of Canabucks to pay.

In their day, Sunnybrook trailers had a very good reputation..
As posted...it's all about leaks. Also check for very heavy frame, and running gear rust. Appliances all working?
$3800 and they will probably take a little less....

yes. my prowler is a 91, its potable water system has long been removed (city water works and grey and black tanks are fine) and the furnace is not trustworthy. Now im detailing with a rotten spot. It was bought cheap 4 years ago with the expectation that we would replace in a few years but we wanted to make sure we liked the hard sided over the popups we are used to.

The usual caveats apply to check for obvious issues, leaks especially, but for $3800 what have you got to lose? ๐Ÿ˜‰
