Tie downs for 2016 Super Duty

We just bought our first brand new truck in 40 years, F350 extended cab, long bed. My husband wondered what tie down system is best, since you cannot get to the frame near the front of the box, so will need a different system there, unless there is a way to mount the underbelly to this truck. We have fastguns and like them, our camper weighs about 3300 lbs, 8 ft. long Previous truck also F350, but new 16 years ago.

I think you will find that you can indeed get to the frame as the truck's bed (other then the redesigned tailgate) is the same one that came on your 2000.

I have had both the Torklift and Happi-jac systems. The TL provided a MUCH more secure mounting system and is the only way to go for a larger camper. The HJ allows more flex into the equation which works well if you are taking your truck down trails and off-road.

Torklift is what many manufacturers recommend and probably most of us here. You can check their website for how the install works.
