tires
Hi new to website i have 85 gmc 3500 with 8.00x16.5 was told i could change to 8.75x16.5 does anyone know if the rear douley will rub each other will this change be safe thank you for any input.

- It is very likely the dualled tires will be too close together. Vehicle manufacturers are noted for having wheels that fit the original tire size, and not anything larger (as far as dualled spacing goes).
- If you make the change your tires will be 3/4 of an inch closer together. How much clearance do you presently have?
