Make / model of trailer is irrelevant, make / model of toilet is what we need to know. That said, I don't know of any foot flush toilet on which you'd lift the foot pedal to introduce water into the bowl :h ... rather, you'd depress it slightly to fill the bowl or completely to open the flush valve so the bowl contents would drop into the BW holding tank below.

In my 2008 Keystone trailer, my toilet flush pedal lifted up to fill with water and down to flush it all away. On my 2015 Keystone 30RIPR it only presses down to flush it away. Is this a random issue with my toilet or did they really take away the filling feature on the flush pedal?
