Towing Mirrors

I have a new 2013 Dodge Ram 1500. My dealer insists there are currently no OEM towing mirrors to fit my truck. Apparently even mirrors off a 2500 Ram would not work. When I say "not work" I mean the electric components are not compatible, they will bolt onto door alright.I did a google search and could not find even aftermarket mirrors to fit. Anyone else run into this? Thanks
  • Get yourself a pair of McKesh mirrors and forget about the built in mirrors. Better in use easy on and off.

Used them for years on our Dodge Ram towing TTs, fiver and box trailers. Now we have a truck with real mirrors.

That is a shame. A Dodge just isn't a Dodge unless it has its tow mirrors flipped out.
Yeah and IMO they look stupid unless they have hips, a flat bed , or a wide trailer behind them. I don't know what the purpose of them being flipped out any other time. I guess they are trying to make sure their brake lights are still working from the drivers seat. :)

    X2!

I find them hard to use flipped up without the 5er in tow, too hard to see a reference point.

I love mine, but when I drop the 5er I drop the mirrors also.
