- mboppExplorerWhere did you have it plugged into? House or campground?
Do you have power at the outlet the trailer was plugged into?
Try cycling (turn "off", then "on") all the circuit breakers in the trailer's power center. Then check for a tripped breaker / GFI on the outlet the trailer was plugged into. - mntnv7231ExplorerIt was plugged into the house long extension cord was used, smaller amp cord there is power to that outlet have cycled on and off all Breakers still nothing I replace the GFI it is still tripped
- EV2ExplorerLong extension cord very possibly overloaded and failed. Did you check the cord for continuity of positive, neutral and ground. A long, light extension card is incapable of providing proper voltage and amperage fora microwave or air conditioner and can actually go up in smoke.

unplug the microwave. does the gfi still trip? IF so you know it is NOT the microwave. You then need to check the receptacle where it was plugged in to ensure that the wiring is not touching anything there in. With trailer movement, receptacles and wiring in them can move / loosen causing issues. - a-d-sExplorerNot sure either extent of works and doesn't, but check the element in your hot water tank. If it's failed and shorting out then the gfi at the house will trip. I had that and it was difficult to track down but easy to fix once I knew.
You can also try systematically unhooking neutral wires off the main bus for each circuit until you isolate the problem. That is assuming you are comfkrtable with that level of electrical work. Be safe! - Mark_and_LindaExplorerAny solution yet? Just wonder if it was the Microwave?
- mntnv7231ExplorerI have hooked it up to shore power two outlets before the GFI work GFI will not reset I'm using correct amperage extension cords this time that was an issue
- mntnv7231ExplorerI unplug microwave and the refrigerator both were before the GFI still tripped will not reset
- mntnv7231ExplorerWhen this issue occurred trailer was plugged in with the light extension cord microwave was turned on and have had problems ever since could it possibly be the power converter?
- mntnv7231ExplorerInside the power converter is where all fuses are one fuse continually trips and that is for the furnace
