TT use in MD in Nov and Dec

We have the 2015 Keystone Bullet Premier with the Thermal Package, which includes: Ducted Heated and Enclosed Underbelly, 2" Pipe off of Furnace to Underbelly, 30K BTU Furnace and Residential Heat Ducts, Radiant Heat and it has R-11 Insulation in the roof and floor and R-7 in the sidewalls. I am going to MD for a little over a month in Nov and Dec and was considering taking the TT with me, so I don't overstay my welcome anywhere and have my own space for myself, my GF and he 3 dogs. We've never spent any time up there in cold weather in the RV. My question is assuming I keep it heated around the clock and have something like this for a water source: Freeze Ban Heated Hose, do you think I'll have any issues with anything freezing?

Being a FL resident for most of our camping life, I rarely run into the winterizing or freezing issues and am curious if it's worth the risk or if I should just stay with family.

You will be fine.

Only addition i may suggest is a dehumidifier, we get a ton of dampness/condensation in our when we use it that time of year. THey are a bit of a win-win they do produce a noticeable amount of heat and dry the place out too.

There will be some cold mornings but on the whole you shouldn't have any problems.

one other piece of advice...keep one tank turned off so you know how much propane you ahve, refill empty the next day. Having to go out and turn on a tank @3am is bad but realizing you have 2 empty tanks @3am is worse.

Do you intend to park the TT in your relatives driveways? Water, Sewer, Electrical connections available? If not, then a campground would be needed. They would be expensive in the Baltimore area from what I remember about them, assuming they are still open.

Back to your basic question - You should be alright with adequate electric in the Baltimore area. It does snow in December and most likely will be below freezing some days/night while you will be there.

Have fun and enjoy the family times.

It's likely going to be colder than you'd like it to be in Nov & Dec. Last year we drove south from PA to VA for thanksgiving camping and it was snowing on our way south. We winterized and left it winterized for the trip and used the bathhouse and bottled water. With your heated underbelly and a heated hose you'll likely be OK, but it gets cold up here. I'd certainly trade MD for FL in the winter;)

I'll be in the Baltimore area give or take 30 miles east/west of the city depending on who we're visiting.

I don't WANT to go to MD in the winter, but that's where all our friends and family are and for some reason they are locked in to being up there. We'd like to spend the holidays with everyone and making two trips for Thanksgiving and Christmas seems silly. I work online, so I can just stay up there and make one trip. Just trying to weigh my options and see if it's worth taking the trailer or just crashing at my sister's for a couple weeks and then moving to my parents house for a couple weeks. The main issue is other people having to deal with our 3 dogs. While they are well behaved, adding 3 dogs to 2 house guests can be a lot for people to handle....family or not.

I depends on MD where you will be staying. Western MD in the mountains is much colder than down around the Chesapeake Bay. You should be ok in the lower altitude part of the state in that time period.
