And no, I am not trying to doom and gloom, nothing is perfect and its a good idea to know where the issues are with Hensleys. But, in order for Hensley to transfer the lifetime warrenty on this hitch its about $500 ish bucks...Suddenly $650 turns into $1150.00 which is getting close to what a re-furb Hensley runs from the factory.

The quote I got for a refurbished hitch was $2200. The warranty is $517 if I'm recalling correctly. Buying the warranty also gets you into the hitch bar exchange.
