I bought a 2012 Ram 3500 SRW last year and love it. I went with the Ram because I liked how it looked and it was simply the only heavy duty truck with a big cab I could afford. I came from a Nissan 1/2 ton Titan and I'm amazed by how nice the interior is on this truck compared with the Nissan. I have always owned Japanese cars (Honda and Toyota) just because of the belief that they lasted forever but that's just the same mentality as the guy who says you will need the heated tailgate option for the Ford.
I don't think you could go wrong with any of the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks currently out on the market, so test drive them all and buy what you prefer. Take these videos with a grain of salt and do your own research. After all it is your money.
