Water troubles :(

Hello everyone. I need your help. The other day I decided to flush the waterline in our trailer as the water tasted and smelled off. Not sure if it was the hose or the water lines I filled the water tank with water and some bleach. Then put a mixture of water and beach in the hose that is used to hook us to our water supply. I turned on the water pump for a while to flush the water lines and then hooked the hose back up and ran clean water through to get rid of the bleach. Now I have two problems. The water running from the kitchen tap barley comes out and now my out door shower won't work. What could I have done running the water from the fresh water holding tank that would have messed up the kitchen water and the shower. Please help me figure this out. Thank you

    That one makes the pump work harder trying to satisfy the demand.

    If your hoses were new, the taste problem is likely the water source itself. Look at getting yourself a multi-stage filter.

    There should also be a debris collector (a small clear bowl) on the water pump also. I have found that to be the culprit also.

    BINGO!!!!! You were all right. Cleaned the screens and it did the trick. Thanks all : )

    Well thanks so much for your input. Going to start with taking off the kitchen faucet screen first and see what happens there. Cheers!

    I took my kitchen faucet screen apart, blew it out with compressed air, then soaked it in straight white vinegar for several hours. It helped a lot.

    Seems like you dislodged some crud and now you are going to have to start disconnecting parts of the water system to find out where the stoppage is. I'm sure that is not what you wanted to hear.

    A lot depends on types of faucets and where you've been getting water, while camping.

    Unfiltered well water could have sand in it. It's possible the aerator screens are clogged. Some faucets have an inline filter, which, can get plugged with sand, or, any kind of debris in the water lines. Some have a replaceable cartridge stem, that gets clogged.

    Could be some kind of debris, broken loose during your flushing.

    Outside shower == Disconnect the hose and run faucet to see how water runs.

    Kitchen faucet -- Unscrew the screen and try running water.

    Check your water pump -- Some have a filter that gets plugged.
