That was a long time ago.
I got the F250HD and camper in 1990 before I was on the internet, was the rv forum here then? Didn't have a community of other campers to discuss weight issues back then plus I was busy working. The dry weight of the camper is 2600 lbs.
It sagged a bit in back initially so I took it to a spring shop and they installed overloads which leveled it up. Don't remember what tires I ran back then but they were over 3k/tire Michelin.
15 years later I upgraded to F350 (2005) so I figured was better off.
Retired now and have more time so wanted to see how safe it was on the F350 and if I could carry a heavier camper in the future.
My camper is 1986 Western Wilderness and is getting old.(delaminating siding)
