Weight of TT v FW
Why do FW's foot for foot weigh more than TT's? I am a newbie and for various reasons lean to the Ford Ecoboost as a TV. It seems like it can handle much more TT than FW.

While others have mentioned the additional cost of the higher frame of the FW, I also think that FW are set at a higher pricepoint because of the type of users they sell to.
There's also the question of what you consider 'equal length.' While model numbers can be comfusing, a TT with a real length of 34' will have roughly 30'-31' of house (the rest is the tongue). A 34' FW, on the other hand, has 34' of house. So, for 'equal length' trailers, you not only have the extra height, but a lot more length as well!
