My camper you had to go up and into the dark camper to feel around for light switches.

On of my first mods was to add a battery operated, LED, motion sensitive, wall sconce.

It comes on the moment the door is opened and gives enough light to see around the camper and turn on the desired lights.

I plugged my coffee pot and slow cooker into the inverted sockets.

Under, on bottom of, overhead cabinet receptacle, also is our GFI. Nicely placed partialy under blind.
Always wondered but realized there is no 120v wiring in exterior walls. Dont know that we've ever plugged anything into it.
