what's wrong with this picture? (think skid plate)
That's right -- no protection for the transmission pan or external filter. Been meaning to fix this for years - even before I creased my original pan years ago.
Those creases on the corners are factory installed.
Maybe this will work -- 1/4" diamond plate aluminum.
After some measuring and marking --
-- and sawing and drilling.
Looks a lot better than nothing to me.
But I better clean up the front edge of the transfer case plate.
