Where do you put your levels?

Just installed a LevelMate Pro....got it calibrated and installed the app. It is by far the greatest and easy to use in combo with the Anderson style level blocks. I think it is worth it....simple to use

Man this means I have to level again when we find a TC? Been spoiled by the auto level on the 5th wheel. unhook hit auto level and hook up the power and water. By then its level and its fishing time.

On our last TC I put one level where I could see it in the drivers side mirror, and one right by the jack also.

As far as where to check for level, use the stove top. Make it so the eggs don't run to one side of the pan that way both the cook and the fridge will be happy.

I have two at the front by the driver's corner jack near the front jack's control buttons and two by the rear jack and the rear jack control buttons (Mine are mounted on the jacks themselves, pre-remote control era Atwoods).

Mine is inside the drivers door panel so I can pick a good stopping point while slowly rolling. for Side to side I can usually guess close enough.

I use a round level near the back step and store it in the drawer back there. I’ve found that good enough. Fwiw, I bought a replacment online. No air in that one. No, I didn’t return it but it was completely useless.

When I carried truck campers years ago most pickups on the road were std cabs. I leveled the camper floor with a 4' level. Then leveled the fridge in its cabinet. This was in the late '60s and '70s.
I used the small " long screw on type bubble on the exterior corner of the camper right behind the driver.
My dad had a cheap made Mid States TT in the late 70s. He leveled his camper from the fridge freezer. Mom complained about all the cooking grease running to one side of her pots/pans/skillets causing burnt fried foods.
One long rainy week end while camping I leveled the trailer for her then shimmed her fridge level while dad was out in the boat fishin'. WE didn't tell him how mom fixed her out of level stove top.

The main issue for me is I don't want the bed to end up with the head lower than the foot.
Since I am now in a Class B, without jacks, I use the phone app, and set the phone on the floor near the driver seat, where I can see it. I work the rig around the campsite until I have it as close to level as I can.
Doing this I have never yet had to use my bag of leveling Legos.

We've found the off-level specs for our last 3 fridges basically useless. One fridge would temperature spike under the slightest off-level conditions (less than 3 degrees), while our current fridge (with the same off-level specs) has yet to spike even when our truck camper is crazy off-level. No rhyme or reason. The only way you'll know what's going on is by monitoring the flue temps. An ARP Fridge Defend allows you to monitor the flue temps realtime. If you're off-level you'll see the flue temps begin to spike plenty of time before the unit shuts down your fridge. Plenty of time to make corrections before you incur a shutdown or suffer any permanent damage.

on my class a's (which I think would be similar to a pickup, I leveled the RV using a 4 foot level, plus some of the round, target bubble levels on the floor of the freezer, then took a target level and smushed it into silicone sealer on the console till it showed centered/level.
just pull into parking spot and wiggle around till that bubble is centered.
