Or the vast majority of Ford owners are satisfied and not having problems. The vocal minority can make a big noise on the internet, but that doesn't neccessarily mean that a majority of owners are having the same problem...
My cousin has a 2011 F250 with the new diesel. Lots of miles, lots of hard use on a farm and zero complaints. My camping buddy has a 6.0 diesel. He has spent some money on repairs, but he has almost 200,000 miles and doesn't find the cost of repairs to be unreasonable consider the mileage of the engine. They both love their Ford diesels, despite all the complaining about those model years on these forums...
