- Video Inverter part 2
- My upload speeds are slower than a slug in a salt mine. I goofed and uploaded another video first, and 2.5 hours later, it still isn't finished. I am letting my computer do its thing all night and will post the video in the morning.

That was my issue with the tiny pigtails. They didn't handle a/c surge very well.
Shore power passes through making it usable for everything in the camper while inverting batteries to 120VAC.
The pro has some excellent power protection for anything downstream of the pass-thru.
Not familiar with the prosine units. I installed a magnum and everything on the AC side is hardwired during install. We also have a smaller inverter connected to 2 outlets for tv and lighter loads that came with the camper. - 2oldmanExplorer II

Must be a large battery bank in order to use it for running the A/C.- work2muchExplorerClever install!
That's how I wired our inverter as well. Shore power passes through making it usable for everything in the camper while inverting batteries to 120VAC.
Depending on how hard you run it, you may want to keep an eye on the temperature in that utility compartment. I have found inverting over 80-100AH for more than a few minutes the space mine is located (original battery compartment) gets warm so we open the door while using it for things like air conditioning and cooking which works well. Eventually I will vent it better and add a temp sensor fan. - SidecarFlipExplorer IIII have an Aims Power 2000 watt PSW in my TC with their remote switching. The Aims has the lowest idle current draw of any popular PSW inverter and the input lugs are quite robust as well. It's mounted within a foot of the battery box and fed with welding cable and crimped on lugs.
