Ed, Thanks for reminding me about that post.
Our experience has made the following words important to us.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." Mark Twain
My wife and I try to be nice to everyone... we are human and we sometimes fail. We never fail because of your nationality, your religion, your color, your politics, your social status, etc... When we fail it is our fault... not yours.
We try to be generous, to share what we have... our stuff and ourselves... there is such a small difference between hope and dispair for many people... we'd like to nudge them toward hope.
A smile and a hello goes a long way.
