================================================================
Inquirees have made me think a bit...

and to share 2012 SPRING LOOP

the general plan... miss the tornados.... be home before the first of June

We are heading south thru Jimmy Carter country to Tallassee... and he coast... getting away from the middle America E/W interstates and the tornado alleys.

We'll be heading west and then down toward Brownsville... then follow the border to NM... North as far as rocky Mtn NP and then head east thru Nashville toward the end of May... we have never been inside the State Capital.

I'll be posting some as we go...

PS... the camperport did great in the storms, no damage that I can see... best $3500 I spent last year. I highly recommend it.

If you stand at the side of the capital and look south toward Avenue "O" about 1/2 a block there is an excellant Mexican Resturant... Vallejo's. We eat there several times when we are in town.

The outside is as festive as the inside

Hello Wayne... in your neighborhood he'd have to have one of those 3 corner reflectors... like on the Amish buggys.

We really like the big Amish resturant in your town and the German resturant in Jasper. Or we could go to Owensboro for bbq.

One of my best friends and business partner is burried in Petersbug along with his son.

If you get to our area please consider visiting... we'll plug you up to a 30amp circuit and show you our sights.

We stayed at the Bigfootfords for a few days. He is a genus in all things electronic... and a very good all around craftsman.

For once I didn't have a project.

The mail we were looking for came...

We had planned on leaving our camper there and driving our truck back to the San Fransisco Airport for our flight to Hawaii.

We didn't fit... and we had already made a back up plan to store the truck and camper as a unit at the hotel in Burlingame if we needed... it worked out better for us in the end... it gave up preparation time as we waited for the flight.

We stayed in the Sacramento area for about another two weeks... at least until the thermometor hit 108 degrees.

I won't post pictures of Waynes house but I will tell you that he and his wife are master craftsman.

They designed and built and decorated their house... complete with nice landscaping, bridges over the stream, and walkways over much of 10 acres.

If he explains how something should be done... you'd be wise to listen and give his thoughts careful consideration.

We visited with Reddog1 on the first day in town... he and his wife were working on one of their properties and we had the address. They extended an invitatation for us to stay there. We like the Avenue I location because of its location and opted to stay there instead.

Later in the week we moved to Bigfootfords in Fai Oaks... they we traveling. We were really looking forward to seeing them... last year they visited us in Tenn... we enjoyed taking them through our mountains, and canyons (gorges)... we also went to wineries, etc.

Bigfootford had arranged for us to recieve some important mail concerning our up coming cruise and we planed to leave our camper at his house.
