We are currently in Arkansas.Re: Lincoln NE campingThere is ”Camp A Way" RV resort in Lincoln right off of I-80 & 180. Nice resort for the area. There is also the convention center out on east 84 st but they are electric only. We just left there last month.satalite connectionsHi folks, I've got a question - I am running cable from sat dish (traveler three) under my slide out and up into the back of my entertainment center into an A/B switch. When I went to hook up the main line from the receiver to the A/B switch, I got a spark from the cable line. Could I have shorted something or is this ok?Re: Water pressureIf you are also using a whole house water filter it might need to be changed. One sign ours is due is the pressure will drop. Good luck.Re: Roll Call Alaska 2016we are planning on 2017. Saving $$$ now for it. We are planning on doing the reverse of your trip and spending time in Oregon before coming down the CA coast. Have been planning now for a couple years and can't wait till gets closer. We have a commitment next summer otherwise we would go in 2016. Enjoy your trip and have fun.Re: Curt hitchI have Q20 and love it. For the price you are paying, great deal.Re: Dining table and chairswe removed the screws from our table also. We just move the table out a little and the other 2 chairs are on the main floor without the rocking effect. The only time we use 4 chairs is when we have company and play cards. We just make sure the table is secured when we move.Re: Disinfecting Water ConnectionsI have a small spray bottle of bleach mixture I use to spray the city water connection at the park before I hook up my hose. I have seen folks put their sewer hose to the faucet and run water to clean out. This way, who knows what the previous individual has done. We full time and I always keep about 1/3 full of water in my fresh water tank. I try to empty and refill each season. Never know what you might run across. I try to sanitize once a year but don't always happen. We've had no issues and continue to enjoy.Re: Ever seen the door in the slide?saw one on the EXCEL, the steps were not that bad but do agree, older folks may not like them. I did like the way the floor plan looked inside. Just not sure how they would work driving down road and locked in place.Re: Generators in a 5th wheelI installed the onan 5500 LP and love it. It is quite and you don't notice the hum. I like the LP for convenience mostly. We've boondocked a few times and do use it at Walmarts. If it's hot enough out to need ac to sleep, I look for a real campground with full power. Works best for us.
