When I moved the batteries slightly to have better access to the posts the DC power went out! On the road again on Thursday. Keeping my fingers crossed! BTW, the batteries were fully charged.Re: intermittent loss of DC coach electricity dougrainer wrote: Your batteries are probably bad or the connections to the batteries are corroded and loose. Shore Power/Genset and starting the chassis engine just uses the Alternator(chassis) or the Power Converter(Inverter/charger) on Shore or Genset. Doug Batteries are fairly new, but I'll "break and make" the post connections.Re: intermittent loss of DC coach electricity BillofPA wrote: I had that problem and it was a bad relay that the "salesman" switch was connected to. I suspect this as well.Re: intermittent loss of DC coach electricity darsben1 wrote: I had that same problem. It turned out to be a defective disconnect someone installed on the - side of the house battery service. Intermittent problem. MIne looked like this I don't have one of those.intermittent loss of DC coach electricityI have an occasional and intermittent problem with loss of DC coach power. Here's the scenario: I drive into a rest area for a "comfort" stop, turn the engine off, switch the water pump on, it doesn't come on, further investigation reveals no DC power in the coach. I don't lose DC power every time the engine is turned off, but when I do starting the engine or plugging into shore power restores DC power. What might cause this, and what is the fix? Coach is a 2004 Fleetwood Pace Arrow, on a Workhorse chassis.intermittent DC outageI need some advice for how to troubleshoot this problem. We occasionally lose DC power, when we are on house power only. It never seems to happen when connected to shore power, or when the engine is running. Without any action by us, it will "auto-magically" come back on. I've confirmed that the house batteries are fully charged, and all battery cables are tightly clamped. Any ideas about what might be going on?Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows Fyr guy wrote: Jim, I replaced all my indoor halogens with LEDs. The replacements do protrude a bit so the reflector will not seat flush against the wood but for me the trade off was acceptable. I just left the existing reflector in place. Hope this helps. Thanks.I bought the smallest LEDs available from M4 Products and they fit fine.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsHas anyone replaced the under-cabinet halogen bulbs with LEDs? Did you have to remove the reflector? If so, how? My reflector is a bulky piece of pot metal so the tabs that clip into the plastic housing cannot be flexed. If you have been able to remove this type of reflector, please tell me how to do it. Thanks!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsSubject: where can I get this part? The cover on the Battery Control Center under the hood of my 2004 PA is held with a couple of lever-type clips. I've lost one. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement? I've been unable to reach RV Custom Parts (maker of the BCC).Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsI've had intermittent problems with my backup camera/monitor, but now it's quit for good. Replacing it seems like something I could do myself. I'd appreciate any advice or warnings from anyone who has done this. TIA.
