If you do drive with it empty, stop and check hitch hook up, mine droped a bolt and it almost came apart at 500 mi. Not trying to scare you but be careful, I stayed in the right lane all the way fron N carolina to Boston.Re: Tongue jack collapsed, TT nose crashed down - ouch!Happned to me once, just missed my foot, no time to react it came down so fast. Jack wwas up to its max when it fell. Best to be arms length when pushing butten or crsnking. Also inside the tail pipe was clean with rust spots. any way to tell if its from a flood area and been clean up. And does it realy matter.Re: Master Tow QuestionThanks all for info. RobMaster Tow QuestionBad move, let someone borrow my tow dolly and bent he plate the front tires sit on, I removed the plate (had to cut the 1" bolt off) and repaired the plate, have a new bolt and lock nut. But anyway thanks for the info. I did buy a 22ft. about 23 yrs. ago for a lot less but every thing was a lot less then. Thanks again.Replacing awning on MH $$I need to replace my awning on our Motor home (made a bo-bo and destroyed it) I'm going to install a manual awning instead of ele. First quote I received (not from a dealer) was $743.98 for roller and fab. And $347.98 for awning arm and hardware assembly. My awning is an 18 ft. with 6'/6" arms. hat does not include any labor, as I am going to install it my self. Anybody know where I my get a lower price. Thanks Robstarting to look at trucksI'm in no hurry, but looking at used (2016 and up) F150's, looking at eng. size and wondering what would be best a 3.5 Ecoboost or a 5.0 L V8 . to pull a 7000lb trailer (TT) I think I"m leaning towards the V8, to pull over hills in Maine. Thanks Rob
