Applies power brakes thru a vacuum pump, and is progressive. I second this one, nothing to monkey with and nothing to store (never seem to have enough storage).Re: Winnebago recommendations.Thank you so very much you all for your feedback! Great to see that there is a company out there with integrity! This gets us started, still need to do more homework. I sure wish I would have looked more into the customer service and company integrity (hey Warren your company needs help) before I invested in my Forest River POJ. We wish the 34T was a bit shorter, really like the idea of going diesel. Well thanks again.Winnebago recommendations.Well after three seasons of pain and suffering it is time to dump the Forest River sinseeker. I an effort to keep from getting stuck with another piece of garbage, and a less than "helpful" manufacturing company (forgive me...trying to choose words sensitively correct)..we are seeking some feedback. This past week we went to the local RV show looking to maybe move to a Class A. Kind of like some of the Winnebago products (fitting our price range). We liked the Adventurer 32H and also were interested in the Itasca 34T Solei, like the diesel idea in the latter. They both seem to be built nice, but hard to tell these days. Any thoughts from Winnebago owners...thoughts on quality, and most important the integrity of the company? Would you buy another Winnebago product if you had it to do over again? We just don't want to get "stuck" again by a Forest River type company. Thanks for your thoughts.Re: Covering an RV redsuperduty wrote: PT-RVr wrote: Thanks for the feedback, these were my thoughts also. Unfortunately after two years the paint on my RV has begun to blister. The manufacture says its my fault for covering the unit with an RV cover, plus it is over a year old, therefore it's your (my) problem. They had the attitude that everyone knows you don't cover a painted RV. Thanks for helping me feel a bit better, shocked at the cost of repainting!. Covering it had nothing to do with it. Is it blistering only in certain colors? Darkest color? Sounds like post curing to me, a lot of manufacturers have had this problem. Yes I agree it does not have anything to do with the cover. Actually is getting much worse this winter without the cover. It started on the light color (base coat), it is now starting to show through on the darker ones. I would think that Forest River would not want something like this out on the road with their name on it, looks really pathetic. But it seems they don't care. Since this has happened I have been reading up on them on the web, sure a lot of unhappy campers out their with FR products (very poor customer service)! I guess they are another short sided business willing to produce garbage, and I am guessing when the tides turn they will be looking for US the tax payers to bail them out...Re: Covering an RV ScottG wrote: PT-RVr wrote: Thanks for the feedback, these were my thoughts also. Do you get the feeling that they would have had the opposite explanation ready if you said you didn't cover it? That thought crossed my mind, I guess integrity is a lost art.Re: Covering an RVrodfisherman - I too have a Calmark cover (custom sizing w/door), used them on my previous RV also. Great company and excellent product too.Re: Covering an RVThanks for the feedback, these were my thoughts also. Unfortunately after two years the paint on my RV has begun to blister. Actually one thing that work on it....Covering an RVSorry for the pedestrian, but do you recommend covering a RV with full body paint? Thanks.
