ThanksLooking at 2008 Motorhome????Hi I ran across a 2008 Fleetwood Tioga SL that appears to be in excellent condition seller is asking 44,500 Motorhome has 3700 miles on it Should I be concerned about low mileage???? How does low mileage & not being used very often have an effect on the unseen parts of motorhome: engine, transmission, generator, hoses, belts ,tires & etc Looks great Body in pristine condition Original owner any suggestions on a positive way to verify all systems????? I bought a Motorhome from a dealer a few years ago & was totally misled My fault as I trusted the dealer Don't want to get stung again Did go to NADA & price is within their guidelines I have Vin # but a report would only tell me about Ford Chassis not Motorhome itself Help with your suggestions ThanksRe: No DCThanks That circuit breaker is located under many wires at bottom of battery box Leary of working on any electrical device If I disconnect from shore power , disconnect positive & negstive battery cables will it be safe for me to just place my hands with a wrench & etc & work on removing & replacing circuit breaker??? Will power from truck battery enter into picture ThanksNo DCIt may be to early to cheer but I'll go ahead anyway & see what tomorrow brings Thanks to everyone who took the time to advize & support me with your replies I did try most everything you suggested but after 4 hours this morning I was about to give up I experienced the exact same problem some time ago & Fleetwood suggested a fix & everything worked fine This time when I lost DC & no battery charging The first fix I looked at was the fix I did in the past All that involved was looking into bottom of battery box where there is a small devise that when tripped a very small blackbutton pops out of this breaker & all one needs to do is push this button back into breaker which then does a reset & everything works but this time there was no button visible Therefore I just started looking at everything else But lo & behold when I had given up I looked at this breaker & walla there was the black button which I reset & now everything is working as designed Just very thick skulled Thats me Plan on contacing Fleetwood & getting a new breaker Also I read that if I run into this problem again I need to knock on breaker with some force in order to completely make button pop out of breaker so it can then be reset Hope when I check MH tommorow morning I still have DC & batteries are charging Thanks again to all of you TedRe: DC PowerHi Mike 2006 fleetwood Jamboree 23 e Does power switch booster used when need to start chassis engine????DC PowerHi Working on resolving lost DC Many things I don't understand On shore power i have AC & DC On house batteries I have no DC but still have AC What is the source of AC????? Must be my Inverter which takes DC from batteries & inverts it to AC IS this correct???? How come I can get AC from my batteries but no DC???? obviously I'm confused Please straighten me out ThanksNo DCPositive exiting inverter was loose but at first I wasn't concerned but loose wire kept coming up in responses here so I finally really tighten clamp on wire & much to my surprise I had 12 volt power at all devices Was real Happy ,went & did some things in house & went back 1 hour later & SURPRIZE NO DC Disappointed to say the least Batteries on past trips just didn't seem to be getting a full charge like I expected when on shore power All connections look good I'm thinking converter needs to be replaced Is there a definitive easy test I can do to determine if converter is shot???? Thanks Ted PS: If need be I will remove converter to perform a test but would rather leave unit in motorhome & do test
