Hmm what could it be ugh lol the mystery continues! What is this switch?Hi I have a 2000 Damon Intruder 341 RV and I'm wondering what this switch on the floor is for? It isn't labeled and the previous owner is of no help. It's on the floor, directly to the left of the driver seat. Thanks Floor Switch PictureRe: Battery disconnect wiringWoohoo success thank you good sir for the help. I'm not sure why this confused me I guess it's just been a long couple days lol but I really appreciate your help.Re: Battery disconnect wiringOkay so orange wire gives me 12 volts to a good ground (battery). White wire gives me a bright light with the test light, and infinity when testing between the other wires that have no voltage. It also gives me 0.5 ohms resistance to battery ground So white is ground Orange is 12v I have gray and purple neither of these have voltage, but they do have continuity to each other. 4.4 ohms but OL to ground so I'm guessing these two are my coil wires I have one last wire it is green, this switch was lit. I'm not sure what this green wired does or where it should go, it has zero volts to ground and no continuity to ground. I suppose I can just disregard this green wire. So to recap orange equals 12 volts White equals ground Gray and purple equal coil wires This is the switch I'm connecting to can you help me with how I should wire it https://photos.app.goo.gl/QzEe6V7mjzhKFdr7A https://photos.app.goo.gl/B3iHGWsm1PyCc2uB8 Thank you so muchBattery disconnect wiringHi I'm replacing this battery disconnect with just a basic three-way momentary switch. Here are the wires I've figured out so far White = ground Green = ground Orange = 12v Grey= neither power nor ground Purple= neither power nor ground I can't locate the relay. Attached our pictures I found in the owner's manual. What am I doing wrong? https://photos.app.goo.gl/wktm1vNhMVX5eQmt9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/rj6u15Mgs5EW4KzY9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/EoYJiVyagJi1KHpi6 I've lost use of my battery because I disconnected the switch. And naturally the switch pcb board broke when disconnecting it.Re: Older Class A ElectricalI have wired up the new ats generator in one side inverter in other side and output going to the todd ats generator spot. Works perfectly. Now at the request of everyone I've ordered another ats and will be swapping out the todd. Ps 50 amp wiring in this tight little space sucks!Re: Older Class A ElectricalThanks everyone for the replies! I learned a bunch already. That's crazy to hear about the transfer switch ugh I'll be doing a whole house inverter setup,I'm aware of what it can and can't power as this is how I've had my last two rigs setup. I always turn the converter off and then inverter on and turn the AC breakers off. It can power everything else and yes I do use the electric water heater even! I run 2 gauge ofc short run to my inverter, it's a high quality pure sine wave (but not pass through) setup.Re: Older Class A ElectricalNever mind I see how they've got it set up the ground is on the outside of the plug duh https://photos.app.goo.gl/3oTgAmXQQjGqS6mB6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/pAYdMuP7MPi5Db7v8Older Class A ElectricalHi. I have a new to me 2000 Damon Intruder 341 Class A Motorhome that has a 50 amp setup. 50 Amp shore power plug in 7000 watt onan on board generator (Adding 2000W 110 inverter) And a "TODD" Automatic transfer switch (pictures attached) I've got a couple of questions: 1. *Ignore, refer to reply below* 2. Why does this ATS refer to itself as a 120/240 ATS- is it because there is 2 hot 110 leads and 1 neutral? Technically 240 but is anything actually running 240 or putting out 240 (generator?). 3. I'm installing an inverter. Can I just install an ATS where the generator leads connect to the stock ATS, and have the inverter and generator come into my add on ATS, then go out to the generator input on the stock ATS? I am not a complete noobie when it comes to electrical, I've been in the maintenance field for over 20 years, so please don't say hire an electrician. I just want to clarify a few things first because I'm not up on the older RV's with 50 amp service. Perhaps they did things a bit differently 23 years ago! Thanks for the help Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4
