All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Considering New 5th Wheel Toyhauler-ConcernsI have a 2017 Wolfpack 315 pack 12 with a seperate 12'garage. With my Can am X3 loaded my pin weight was at 1740#s - 12.5%. Not enough and was experiencing sway. So to get it higher I removed the Hapijack beds, couchs and the party deck fensing. I relocated the spare from under the garage to under the bed above the Hitch and relocated as much weight foward to increase the pin weight t0 2120#s - 15.5%. Without the X3 loaded the pin weight is at 22% 600#s heavyer. I just bought new tires for the Toy hauler to replace the cheap Castlerocks with the hopes of having a better towing experience. I will find out next week as I am going on a 700 mile off road trip. So toy haulers with sepearte garages present you with a whole different set of problems. I tow it with a 2013 F250 Diesel 4x4 and would like to go to a dually however it will still not solve the light pin weight.Re: Do small 5th wheel toy haulers tow well?I recently bought a 2017 39' 5th wheel Wolfpack 315 pack12 with a seperate garage and I am having sway issue with it. So going to a 5th wheel will not nessasaryly solve your issue, just sayin. I have removed The Happijack beds and couchs out of the garage. Removed the shelving unit to be able to back the X3 in. Relocated the spare tire tom under the bed and added weight to the basement area and still only have a pin weight of 15%. 5th wheels tow best at 20%.Re: Slide out not flush to wall on bottomOk so I have been playing around with the adjustments and had it close. Then the acutator started making a clicking noise when trying to extend the slide. It sounds like the racheting noise at full stroke only a lot quieter and the slide will not extend.I have to losen the stop can taking tension off to get it to extend. It does not seem to matter at what position the can is in. I may have to get to the motor however this unit has the Artic under body panels that will need removed.Re: Slide out not flush to wall on bottomYou very funny guy lol. So is it normal for these to extend and retract in an arc?Re: Slide out not flush to wall on bottomOk so your talking about the bell stop on the end of the screw drive. I looked at that and the shaft is all the way to the end of bracket with a nut on each side. Does not appear to be able to adjust out any father. According to the manual there are two bolts on top of each slider that allows some in/out adjustment. If I adjust those I will need to back the stop bell off to allow the slide to close farther, correct? Thanks for the tip on the rubber wheels. Gota fix that as it is really annoying.Slide out not flush to wall on bottomI recently purchased a 2017 Wolf Pack 315 Pack 12 5th wheel toy Hauler. Like anything used there will issues to be resolved. I know this going in. So my first item of concern is the slide out. Its 12' long and house's a Sofa and Dinette. I have multiple issues with it. When extending, it makes a loud squealing noise. I got under it and lubed the racks and sliders with silicone spray that helped some however the squeal is still there. Next issue is when closed the left side (looking from outside) is tight against the seal top down and the right side top is tight and the bottom sticks out about 3/4". Next issue is when fully open the top of slide is tight against the wall and the bottom on both sides has a 5/8" gap. The slide has a slight droop because of it. Looking at the Lippert thru frame rack system it appears to have been adjusted. The left side levelling bracket is adjusted 3/4" lower than the right side. Its supposed to raise the slide on that end. This added additional leverage to the mount bracket and caused it to bend out some. Having never messed with a slide out before I am not sure what direction to go, please help. Also the slide out tend to move in an arc when opening and closing. is this normal. BTW it is not the flush floor style. Thanks in advance. Forgot to add that when slide out is fully extended or retracted it makes a loud ratcheting noise. Is this normal?Re: Rv roof repair using Flex seal.Flex seal is not a good product to use on RVs. Wind speed removes it in a short period of time, been there done that.Re: Truck capacityHmmmm! Well this thread went to crap! lolRe: Truck capacityHow do I find that out?Re: Truck capacityOk, I am looking at LT285/70R17 with a load rating of 3750#s. The stock tires are rated at 3195#s so does not that bring the payload level from 2395 to aprox. 3500#s?
