Since I already own a fifthwheel I can't afford to buy a new toy hauler. I need some way to haul my Polaris Ranger and four wheelers and something to sleep in instead of a tent. I finally decided to buy a 7x16 enclosed cargo trailer. I can haul my vehicles and other camping equipment in an enclosed trailer to prevent theft and have something to set up my cots in. I can easily heat an enclosed trailer better than a tent. I can also use the trailer for everyday hauling and general projects. An app named Onava Extend can help save you on mobile data use. I like many others am on a limited mobile data plan that costs me lots of money if I go over my plan limit. Onava Extend is an app that sets up a VPN (virtual private network) between your phone and your data carrier. It then compresses the data to save on the bandwidth you use. This little app saves me an average of 300 mb daily. That adds up over a short time to big savings. I was always exceeding my plans limit till I started using this free program. My wife and I both have the Verizon Palm Pre Plus and love them. The HOTSPOT function works very well. When in the HOTSPOT mode, up to four computers at a time can access the WIFI network generated by the phone. It sure beats the aircard. When configured correctly, as soon as I turn on the HOTSPOT function, my laptop connects to the network automatically giving me instant access to the internet. The Verizon Palm Pre Plus cannot function as a phone and router at the same time though. When being used as a wireless router, it will ring if you receive a call but the wifi network drops if you answer the phone. So don't answer if you are downloading a big file.
