Iota transfer switch
Hi I have a 2010/11 Four Winds motor home, with an Iota ITS30R transfer switch. I have been told they where very troublesome and the company is out of business. The problem I am having is that the A/C will not run off the generator. It works fine off shorepower. The question is, how do I know which switch to buy ? I have a 2010 four winds motorhome w/ an Onan RVQG4000 gen. It starts and runs fine, but has no output, even w /everything shut off. All that happens is the microwave LED will flash on for a split second, maybe every 5 to 10 seconds. I have a 2011 four winds motor home. It came equipped w/ an Onan generator. The gen starts and works fine for everything except running the roof a/c. If I start the gen and let it run for a few minutes and then turn on the A/C,the blower either runs for a few seconds and shuts off, or not turn on at all. HI We're planning on leaving for Ak in about a week,which should put us in Ak about mid June. I've heard theres still snow,slippery roads and cold weather up there. . Can anyone give me a heads up on what the conditions are now and what I might expect in mid June ? P.S.
