Jimtowed mileageWhich vehicles do NOT turn mileage while being towed?re placing king throttle controlafer looking at djlind,s post, about running in the rain, that may have been my problem also. going from Texas to Raton I went through one of most windy and rainey storms I have ever gone through. the wind rocked our 34000 lb. M.H. Blew the main awning loose {another story} Anyway wind and rain may have caused the connection problem.I will wait to see if I have any more problem with it.should Electronic Throttle System be replaced ?I have a King throttle on a 1998 Country Coach. After spending the night at Raton RV Park (Raton Pass 7,836 ft.) my throttle was completely gone. Coachnet had me towed first to Stewart & Stevens, Pueblo, CO. Their electronic expert was off so Coachnet had me towed to Transwest, Colorado Springs. Total tow cost was $1500+. Kudos to Coachnet. Transwest repairman spent less than two hours. The fix was a loose connection at the motor....cost $447. A new system is $600 plus installation Altitude had nothing to do with the problem. Should I have the throttle system replaced? I have 68,000 miles on the motorhome. Thanks HappytracksDometic Refrigerator Door HandleI'm looking for a door handle for a Dometic Refrigerator, Model #RM2732 Elite, Serial #80300178, Handle #2932392. It has been discontinued by Dometic. This is the self-locking handle. I have searched the internet and have contacted several salvage dealers, to no avail. If you could recommend anyone who might have one, I would appreciate it. Thank you HappytracksKing Throttle ControlI have no throttle. As a result, the transmission will not operate. The engine can be throttled by hand. The foot control is dead. It does not have an electronic engine. I have the manual for the control, but it does not cover the problem. My motorhome is a 1998 Country Coach with a 325 Cummings engine. The people at Stewart & Stevenson in Pueblo, CO could not determine the problem. We are now at Transwest in Fountain, CO where they are trying to diagnose the problem. Any thoughts? First hand info on similar problems would be appreciated. May have to spend the weekend in their parking lot, as we have no tow car. Thanks in advance. Happytrackscampgrounds western arkansasThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27798451campgrounds western arkansasWould appreciate firsthand info on the national forest or Corps of Engineers campgrounds with utilities. I would like to do some fly fishing. We have no children. Would hope to be able to hike a few trails. Looking for a tranquil setting. If you have been there and liked the campground, would appreciate your recommendation. We have a 36' Country Coach which is easy to park in smaller spots. Have the names of some campgrounds that sound good: Shady Lake - Little Pines - Lone Pool - Cricket Creek - Clear Creek - Aux Arc - Spring Hill - Tompkins Bend. Know anything about these? Will be glad to report on all campgrounds where we stay. Thanks, HappytracksCentral Alabama Motorhome BodyshopsI need the name of the best body shop for motorhome repairs in Central Alabama.
