I was not like this in the past but if you read one of my old posts you will know why I have all this apprehension. We were going down a very steep road in New Mexico and the gas pedal got stuck. We were towing and flying down that road. Anyway it has all been fixed better then new and I have to try and not think about that day. You have all been a great help to me. Our motor home has 83,000 miles.Re: I'd like your opinionWhat is a TPMS? If it gives peace of mind I want one.I'd like your opinionWhat do you think about a 1999 Fleetwood Southwind Storm that is well maintained going on a three thousand mile trip? We have roadside assistance, extended service plan and just added travel assist.Re: Forester by Forest RiverVery good point.Re: Forester by Forest RiverLol. No its not a marriage question we are pretty much on the same page about the RV. It's just nice to have one we actually own after years of paying it off. I also did read that the class C has a few safety features that the class A doesn't have. I like the idea that the motor is outside instead of between us in the front. Thank you to all that shared your thoughts with us.Re: Forester by Forest RiverWe have a 1999 Fleetwood Southwind Storm class A motor home right now but my husband really likes the Forester by Forest River. The Fleetwood is paid for and I'm not 100% sure I want another loan.Forester by Forest RiverI was wondering if anyone in the group has a Forester class C. If you do, how long have you had it and are you happy with the unit. Thank you, GinnyRe: Not Able To AssistI found out today that we actually had two types of roadside assistance one with Good Sam and the other with the Hartford. The one with the Hartford comes automatically with the policy. What I meant in my prior posts about not feeling comfortable in the area we were in was it appeared to be a bad part of town with bars on the windows and doors of the nearby stores. Maybe it was fine who knows.Re: Braking System for Tow VehicleWe had the Ready Brake installed and we are very happy with it. Thank you again for all your advice it was a very big help.Re: Not Able To AssistWe take the motor home a couple of times a year at most. When we call Roadside Assistance I really don't want to hear no one can get you. From what I was told they even tried Deming which was much further away. Yes they said no one can come that night and we were on our own. I absolutely do not want sympathy as stated in my first post my husband and I would like to know why. It was daylight, it was Monday and we were in a huge town.
