I've searched in Charlotte to the South, Winston-Salem, and Greensboro to the North, Mooresville to the West and Albemarle to the East. Anyone got a lead on good covered RV storage around Salisbury NC? I would love to also have electricity available if possible. thanks.Re: Xantrex prosine 2000 over tempjust to close the loop (sorry for the delay). But it was the fan. $15 bucks and I'm back in business.new tiresMy 40 foot DP needs new tires. Does anyone know of a dealer in the Atlanta area that is fair and reasonable? Preferably Northwest Atlanta. Thanks.Re: Xantrex prosine 2000 over tempIt's not the batteries that are overheating. Battery temp wasabout85F. Indication says temp1 overheat but of course there is no documentation to tell what temp1 monitors.Re: Xantrex prosine 2000 over tempIt's original equipment so it's 7 years old. Is the fan accessible and replaceable? Is it like a computer fan that I can replace? (can't recall but I think it was running.) Does anyone locate their inverter charger inside the coach?Xantrex prosine 2000 over tempThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27154596Xantrex prosine 2000 over tempMy prosine 2000 is giving me a fault code that temp 1 is too high. If I clear the fault or if I power the unit off and turn it back on, it will start and charge the house batteries at a high current (about 75-80 amps) for about 3-5 minutes. Then I can hear a relay click and the overtemp alarm comes in again and the charge shuts off. This was attempted during a warm august day but I've used the prosine year around in much warmer temperatures. I put my hand on the xantrex box itself and it is warm but I've noticed it warmer. Two questions: Is this xantrex a goner? ie should I replace it? I've read that xantrex doesn't share wiring diagrams making troubleshooting a problem. Second question on researching a replacement inverter/charger is that all of them take a power derate when operated above temps about 25C (77F). Where do you keep your inverter? Mine is located in a basement compartment in a Class A motorhome and I'm guessing the only time it sees less than 77F is on a cold winter day.
