seattle rv parks
Can anyone tell me where a nice RV park (not in a county park) that you have stayed with in the Seattle WA area. Has to be for big rigs and hopefully a pool and within a hour of central Seattle. Never been there and looking at the web site for Good Sam's, RV reviews, Koa web sites must of the RV parks look old and run down. Any help would be appreciated. Has anyone stayed at the above park in the last few years. We know that it is not five star. Our main reason for considering it is because of the inside pool. Your opinion of lot size and cleaniness of the park would be appreciated. We are traveling in a 37 ft Class A motorhome with slides on both sides. We are considering it for the winter season. We have a 2018 Tiffin Allegro Open Road and have a RV King foam mattress 72 x 80. In the past I ordered RV sheets for that size and they seem to be too large so that they pull off the corners. We have tried straps on the corner with no success and I don't want to try to sew the extra sheet in the corners. HELP please. Going to New Orleans in a couple of weeks with a Class A motorhome. Can anyone suggest a nice RV park maybe not directly in the city but not too far out. Towing a car so that is not a issue, Everything that I have looked at in Good Sams or other web sites the parks seem really old and run down, What I mean is that it is either it is in a bad area, you are parking on a dirt lot or the place looks run down. We are coming up I15 from Las Vegas with a 36' motorhome towing. We want to stay somewhere near Yellowstone. Does anyone know of a campground that has full hook ups that does not cost a arm and a leg to stay in. Will consider staying in Idaho and driving to Jackson Wy and taking a tour from there. We are currently looking to go to Alaska next summer in our 36 ft. motorhome for about three months. Has anyone taken one of these guided tour caravan and if so which company and was it worth the price. I have found 3 that I believe do it but they seem really costly. I was wondering if it was just as good to plan our own trip or am I just asking for trouble. I have heard that some of the roads are bad and am a little bit uncomfortable at this point whether I want us to be on our own. Please give me some advice to decide one way or the other. We are planning, for the first time, to spend next winter in Mercedes Tx. I am a bit concerned about it being so close to the Mexican border with some of the problems I have heard about happening in border towns. Could someone tell me if it is safe along the border and if going to Nuevo Progreso Mexico is also safe for the average person to visit.
