FYI Regarding SC SP
Just FYI. I tried to make a reservation on-line for Lake Wateree State Park, SC. The on-line site would not allow me to make one for 1 night only. Had to be a minimum of 2 nights. This is for May 12th, so not a holiday weekend. I called the park. Apparently this is their new policy. You can call the park the week you need 1 night and get it that way -- if they have one available. Just something I had not run into yet.1KViews0likes5CommentsCharleston to Charlotte
Any suggestions on scenic roads to take between James Island County Park in Charleston to Cornelius, NC (just north of Charlotte). Exactly right GoPackGo. We were having a problem finding an open line-of-sight from our campsite at John Pennekamp .... which is really pretty durn open to begin with! Our fellow camper showed us we still needed to move our tailgater a little because the satellite was behind a branch. Problem solved. Thanks for all the suggestions.
